To The Teachers of Sandy Hook…

source: http://wfsb.images.worldnow.com/images/20358904_BG1.jpgWe all wish there were something we could do…as a small gesture of support the PTG has decided to send the following letter and donation to the teachers of Sandy Hook:

Dear Sandy Hook Faculty & Staff,

As mothers of children in our elementary school, teachers, and PTG Officers, our hearts are deeply saddened by the events that occurred at your school.  We know that there are no words or enough monetary donations to take away the pain from that day, but like every mother in America, we feel a need to do something for all of you so you know that we are thinking and praying for you and your community.

On December 14th our school held our annual Give-a-Gift event where for 25 cents each student can purchase 2 gifts for parents.  The money raised is matched by the PTG and is given to a local charity.  We could not think of a better place for this money to go.  We hope that this donation will help teachers as they transition to their new school.

With sincerest support,

PTG Officers

This is a great gesture, however what about the fathers?? It should read parents and not just mothers

    Sent from my iPhone

A very appropriate use of the funds raised by the students and PTG. One group giving
to a sister group in a time of need and sadness.
